Alignment Capital

Definition

Capital whose cycle is matched to the cycle of the mission it serves, in period and in phase. A system is aligned when it satisfies both operators: Δ decouples capital from the four fragility cycles, and Λ synchronises the decoupled capital with the mission cycle. The criterion is binary; alignment is a state holding at a time, and entrenchment (Ω, the Cycle Constitution) is what makes it persist.

Example

A hospital's imaging equipment opens a renewal window every four years. Capital arriving on an annual appropriation is adequate on average and absent at three of the four windows, so capability steps down and does not reset—a timing failure, not a funding one.
